Bill Egerton seated centre

Mark Egerton is a traditional barber. He opened the barbers shop here on Victoria Road, Shifnal, near Telford in June 2005. Mark was inspired by his Grandad, Manchester born and bred, William (Bill) Egerton, (pictured left, seated centre). Bill was traditional barber at 'Dugmore's' Barbers - Cutting the hair of many of the Manchester United's famous 'Busby Babes'. Bill continued Barbering until he was 90 years old.
