Mark Egerton is a traditional barber. He opened the barbers shop here on Victoria Road, Shifnal, near Telford in June 2005.

Egertons Barbers Shop is fully equipped with the most comfortable and modern equipment with the highest standards of hygiene. Starting off as a two chair shop and now upped to three chairs due to a rapidly growing regular clientele drawn from far and wide.

It is uncommon in today's 'fast' culture, to find a traditional barbers shop, staffed by true professionals, keeping alive the barbering skills such as razor cutting, neck shaving and face shaving.

Egertons Barbers Shop in offering the full traditional walk-in barbering services of hair cutting, styling, beard trimming and shaving in really modern and pleasant surroundings.

Mark was inspired by his Grandad, Manchester born and bred, William (Bill) Egerton, (pictured left, seated centre). Bill was traditional barber at 'Dugmore's' Barbers - Cutting the hair of many of the Manchester United's famous 'Busby Babes'.

Bill continued Barbering until he was 90 years old.

Egertons Barbers are proud to help sponsor a Shifnal Town Europeans, Junior Football Team, playing in the Sporting Colts FC Competition League. The under 8's, 7 a-side team, (pictured right) winners of the 2005 Sporting Colts FC Competition.
